I believe we can think of our lives as an integration between physical and spiritual qualities. There is an all-important point to keep in mind in our discussion and that is that “God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24). However, in what ways can this understanding of God affect business decisions?
Leadership is about hearts and minds, about empowering people but not controlling them. The leader’s job is to facilitate increased learning, trust, and understanding. What does it look like to be a transformational leader and how can we help the church, not just it’s pastors, to be transformation leaders as well?
This may be a shocking statement, but leadership does not grow the church. Yes, the mantra in recent years has been, “everything rises and falls on leadership.” But what if leadership rises and falls on communication? Specifically for pastors and those in ministry, what if church leadership rises and falls on preaching?
